Us kiwis (as the people of New Zealand are often called), are justifiably proud of our unique and stunning landscape. Guardianship, protection or Kaitiakitanga as it is called by indigenous Maori people is part of the fabric of New Zealand society and also is at the core of what we do at TERRA.
Our origins and the majority of our on-going and future operations are firmly placed in New Zealand, a rich and diverse land in the South Pacific. New Zealand is renowned globally for innovation and ingenuity, whether that is creating the world’s first disposable syringe to building a jet boat that can travel in only centimetres of water.

Our goal is always to tread as lightly as possible leaving as little environmental impact as we can so that future generations can enjoy the same gifts that nature has provided to us that we have. At our manufacturing facilities we strive to use renewable energy and we recycle or donate any waste created during the process.

The team at TERRA has travelled the world in search of the best natural ingredients, from the Bamboo forests of Asia, the highest quality wood chip from the lush forests of the United States, sugar cane from the dry rich soil of Northern Australia, soybean amino acid from the coastal fishing communities of Japan, right through to kiwifruit grown literally down the road from our head office.

In all of the markets Terra operates in we strive to give back to those in need at a grass roots level, donating products to local community groups and charities whether that is providing personal care products to families in most marginalized communities in New Zealand through to providing nappies free of charge to mothers in the impoverished areas of Mumbai.
